Rui is a Ph.D. student from the Computational Media Lab at the Research School of Computer Science of The Australian National University and affiliated with Data61, CSIRO. I am supervised by Dr Christian Walder, Prof Lexing Xie and Dr Marian-Andrei Rizoiu.

My research interests include Gaussian process, kernel machines, point process and causal inference. My most recent work is on applications of kernel methods to causal inference. I will serve as a reviewer for NeurIPS 2021, ICLR 2022.

Position at UTS: Rui was a PhD student with the Computational Media Lab in ANU (and affiliated with Behavioral Data Science Lab @ UTS).

Next position after UTS: Rui took a position of Quantitative Intern @ Lingjun Invest, one of the top hedge funds in China.
